I firmly believe it’s a wedding, not a photoshoot; and I am devoted to telling the real story of the day. I feel that there is beauty in truth, and if your event was a hoot your photos will reflect that.
If it was sweet and emotional, the pictures will tell that story, too. I believe my calming energy and my ease helps me to stand out as someone who can help to relax the nerves and reduce stress around an already demanding day.
I also stick with a classic yet timeless approach with my imagery as opposed to succumbing to industry trends. Keeping it real but creative.
Ibiza is one of those places you more than often think of a party Island. Venture a little further out and you are treated to some truly beautifully idillic locations worthy of any wedding. Here, shot on the beach front at Elixir Shore Club, Emma and Ben tied the knot. So I took them down carefully onto the rocks at sunset.
Another from Elmore Court in Gloucestershire. This young lad, the little boy of the bride and groom decided JUST before they are about to cut the cake to sneak a bit into his mouth....and I caught him red handed.
This story was created at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire between Kerstie-Ann and Richard. As a wedding photographer, it's your job not to take control of the day but to allow it to flow, making the story real. I had already scouted the beautiful location on my walk around and knew that I had just a few mins to set the shot up while they were finishing desserts. Off camera flash feathering around the couple using a 14-24 lens, took 4 shots and pushed them away to carry on their fantastic wedding day.
